After 15 months and 16,000 nautical miles I arrived in New Zealand in my 27 foot sailboat. This means I am halfway through my circumnavigation around the world. I enjoy the wonderful weeks at sea as well as the meetings and wonderful conversations with people in beautiful places. It is not always easy, things break and it is sometimes hard work on board. The minimalist and adventurous life puts a huge smile on my face. My weekly YouTube videos are like a diary to me. As a consequence I also inspire others on my journey and that is also very nice. Pre-birthday fun🎉 In Tonga is het 23 augustus. Een dag voor mijn verjaardag. Vandaag krijg ik een prachtige hanger en kaart van een moeder en kind walvis. Cathy en Cindy zingen voor me.
